Whyte Dog Pottery, based proudly in Columbus, Ohio, is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure our handmade ceramics are accessible to all online visitors.

1. Measures to Support Accessibility

Whyte Dog Pottery takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of our website:

  • Include accessibility as part of our internal website development and design process.

  • Ensure all images of our ceramic artwork include alternative text (alt text) for screen readers.

  • Maintain clear color contrast between text and backgrounds for easy readability.

  • Design the site layout to be easily navigable by keyboard-only users.

2. Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
